Bowser is the fearsome King of the Koopas. The intimidating villain stands over 10 feet tall. His imposing arsenal of weapons includes a large, spiked shell on his back, two sharp horns on top of his head, and a dragon-like ability to attack his enemies with continuous hot flames or sudden bursts of individual fireballs.
Although Bowser is portrayed as a formidable threat to Princess Peach and the Mushroom Kingdom, he also has several specific personal IDIOSYNCRASIES that move him beyond a simple villain and into the realm of a dramatic, insecure, and oddly endearing personality.
An IDIOSYNCRASY is a unique, peculiar behavioral habit, mannerism, or characteristic specific to an individual. For example, in the recent Super Mario movies, Bowser spends his private time composing and performing piano ballads. That is not all! Bowser is also quite vain about the appearance of his red hair and spiked cuffs. And finally, in the Super Mario Galaxy movie Bowser has a habit of impulsively swallowing snacks and other nearby objects. He then follows this IDIOSYNCRATIC behavior with soft-spoken introductions that contrast with his usual roar.
I do not believe SAT test writers will use Bowser to illustrate IDIOSYNCRATIC behavior. In fact, so far, they have only used IDIOSYNCRATIC as a very frequent WRONG answer!
