Each SAT contains a significant number of challenging vocabulary in context questions. In addition, critical reading passages and answers often contain difficult words.
The presence of so many vocabulary words NECESSITATES or requires a special strategy. Fortunately, SAT test writers regularly recycle questions and key vocabulary words.

The September 12, 2026, SAT used NECESSITATE as an answer to a vocabulary in context question. It turns out that trucks transport a number of perishable foods that are both time and temperature sensitive. For example, bananas must be stored in specific temperatures and arrive at grocery stores on an exact date. This NECESSITATES or requires the use of specialized equipment that monitors and adjusts the temperature inside trucks.
