But fashion is notoriously TRANSIENT or short-lived. Raise your hand if you would wear Cher’s outfit to your high school. I’m betting that none of my female readers raised their hands. Although fashions come and go, the definition of TRANSIENCE continues to mean lasting for a short time and therefore ephemeral.
