Each Digital SAT module begins with a series of Vocabulary in Context questions that test a student’s knowledge of challenging vocabulary words such as engender, eschew, and superficial. Baffled students often complain that these “diabolically evil” questions leave them feeling “cooked.”

This site is designed to help students master the Vocabulary in Context questions. Each post will highlight a REAL vocabulary word that has appeared on a REAL test. Since the College Board frequently repeats questions these REAL words will reappear on future tests. Each post will use REAL examples to illustration each word. No other source has this combination of REAL words and REAL examples.

I will post one to three new Winning Words each day. These free Words of the Day will reflect all ongoing tests.
